It's been almost 2 years since my last release. With everything that happened in 2020 and 2021, it was really hard to focus on writing music. But in the end, this album became something I'm very proud of. The fact that all songs were made at very different times gives a good variety of atmospheres and ideas. It forced me to change my production method by only using plugin's instruments. It leaves me more energy and time to write and makes mixing easier.
Even if it's a full instrumental release, the themes are really political for me. The time period where it was made showed how fucked up this society is and how capitalism doesn't help in times where we should focus on taking care of each other.
This album is also influenced by Japanese culture. I was always in love with the Japanese way of living, and as I started to learn the language myself, I wanted to add some of this vibe in the visuals and the writing (with synth mostly).
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
